In today’s time, everyone knows Shakespeare, but very few people know Kalidas, the great writer and poet of India. The vast world of knowledge is filled in the words written by Kalidas.
Another Sanatan mythology-based film Shaakuntalam will be released in Hindi on this day in 2023
A wonderful story is heard in his epics, in which adornment, bravery, Indian tradition-culture, Hindu religion and its speciality and many other things are known. But the people of India know very little about him. Kalidas wrote all his books in Sanskrit, in such a situation, Kalidas becomes special even in terms of language.
Alas, today every Indian reads Shakespeare, but very few people know Kalidas. Kalidas wrote a play called “Shakuntala”. The story of Shakuntala is told in this drama which is related to Mahabharata. A film based on Shakuntala has already been made and now South actress Samantha will also be seen playing the role of Shakuntala. Which will be released in 2023 this year.
The release date of Samantha’s film Shakuntalam has arrived. Shakuntalam is a Telugu language mythological drama film. The film is based on Kalidasa’s play Shakuntala, also known as Abhijnanasakuntalam.
In this story, Samantha will be seen in the role of Shakuntala while Malayalam actor Dev Mohan will be seen playing the role of Raja Dushyant in the film. This film will be released on 17 February 2023 at the Pan India level. Which will be released in Hindi apart from the South Indian languages Tamil and Malayalam.
This is a lovely love story film that the South audience and Samantha’s fans have been waiting for a long time. The film will be shown in the Hindi language as well as in a 3D version.
Before this, the Shakuntala films has been made in both the South language and Hindi language. Around 1943, famous director V Shantaram also made the film Shakuntala.
In which Indian tradition, respect and glory of sages, the utility of sages, love story and the wonderful story which made the Hindu religion proud were seen.
Now Samantha and Dev Mohan’s film will also be released in February and it is expected that this film will leave no stone unturned to make Indian culture and Hindu culture and literature feel proud.
According to the makers, Dev Mohan, who is playing the role of King Dushyant in this film, will be seen doing sword fighting and horse riding, apart from this, an attempt has also been made to present the film in the same manner as Kalidas had written the play, Shakuntala. It is expected that this year another film showing Hindu culture is going to be seen in cinema halls.
