new Delhi. The name of Sampark Kranti running between Ahmedabad to Delhi in Gujarat has now been changed. Now this train will be known as ‘Akshardham Express’. This information has been given by Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav himself today while sharing the video on his Twitter handle. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav will soon name the train Sampark Kranti Express connecting the Akshardham temples of Delhi and Ahmedabad as Akshardham Express. Which is service and homage at the feet of Pramukh Swami Maharaj.
Further in the video, Railway Minister is saying that, it is my good fortune that today I got the blessings of Mohan Swami Maharaj ji in the centenary celebration of Pramukh Swami Maharaj. A small service is dedicated to the spirit of service with which the devotees of Swami Narayan serve the society, the country and the whole world. Akshardham Express. Akshardham Express is the name of Sampark Kranti connecting Delhi-Ahmedabad, keeping this service spirit and this resolution towards achievement.

Significantly, on 14 December 2022, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the Pramukh Swami Maharaj Shatabdi Mahotsav, the head of the Swaminarayan sect, in Ahmedabad. This centenary festival will last for a month. This festival will continue from 15 December to 15 January 2023.
