Now the government has strengthened the security of Jammu and Kashmir to curb the terrorists and the central government itself has taken a big step in this matter.
Government’s tough decision after terrorist attack
Taking a big step to give a befitting reply to the terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir, the Central Government has decided to strengthen the security system. The government has decided to strengthen the Village Defense Guard Scheme in Jammu. Presently there are 4500 committees in Village Defense Guard Scheme which are in Jammu and 15 members have been placed in each committee. Now the government has decided to increase the members of the committee, which will strengthen the committee. Senior officials of Jammu and Kashmir and the Ministry of Home Affairs are continuously working on this plan. According to the information, now special and modern training will be given to the members of the committee and the DC of the district will be responsible for conducting it.
Government’s commendable step towards increasing self-defense
Apart from this, the members of the committee will be made so careful that they can protect the local people when the opportunity arises. Under the scheme, some people of the village are selected and they are given training in self-defense. At present, this committee is active in Udhampur, Kupwara, Rajouri, Doda, Kishtwar of Jammu and after the recent increasing terrorist incidents, the committee is further strengthened.
