new Delhi. A day before the New Year, a 23-year-old woman was dragged for five kilometers by five youths in a car in Delhi’s Kanjhawala area. Due to which not only the girl died, but her dead body was also torn to pieces. The dead body of the girl was found naked. The matter of negligence by the police has come to the fore in the case. Due to which people have resentment against the Delhi Police. Angry people say that if the police had taken action in time, that girl would have been with us today. On the other hand, in the midst of all this, today a press conference was held on behalf of the Delhi Police regarding the case. Come, let us know what has been said by the police.
Delhi Police’s Special CP Preet Hooda held a press conference regarding the matter. The Special CP said that the girl was dragged for kilometres. Five accused involved in the case were arrested. The help of legal team and forensic team is being taken to investigate the matter. Along with this, the help of the legal team is also being taken. Police produced the accused in Rohini court today. Where the police had sought five days remand for the accused. But the court has approved only three days remand.
A case has been registered against the accused under sections 279, 304, 304A, 120B of IPC. On the other hand, the Delhi Police said that a three-member medical committee was constituted for a detailed investigation of the matter. However, the post mortem report of the deceased is yet to be done. Actually, before the post-mortem of the dead body, the consent of the relatives is taken. But the relatives are not ready to give consent, but the police are trying to take the relatives into confidence.

On the other hand, the apprehension of rape is being expressed regarding the dead body found in the naked state of the girl. However, DCP Harendra Singh had denied that there was rape in the case. Now questions are being raised on the police as to how the police can claim without the postmortem that the girl was not raped. Along with this, Delhi Women’s Commission Chairperson Swati Maliwal has raised questions on the Delhi Police after taking the matter into cognizance. A notice has also been issued by the NCW to the Delhi Police.
On the other hand, there is a contradiction between the statement of the eyewitness present on the spot and the statement of the police. For which the police is coming under the scanner. Along with this, reactions are also being seen on the political front regarding this issue. Please tell that today LG VK Saxena had a meeting with Delhi Police Commissioner. He asked the police to investigate the matter and demanded strict action against the accused. Where the police is telling the case of an accident, the family members of the girl are telling it a case of rape. Now in such a situation, what action does the police take in this whole matter. Everyone’s eyes will be fixed on this.
