new Delhi. Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra, after touring the whole country, is entering UP today. Today the yatra will move from Delhi towards Ghaziabad to enter CM Yogi’s bastion. In such a situation, it has to be seen whether the Yatra will get the same response in UP as it has got in other states. Please tell that the journey will start again from today i.e. January 3, 2023. Earlier, the yatra was stopped taking a break of 9 days. The last yatra had left on December 24 from different areas of Delhi. Today for the first time the Yatra will enter Uttar Pradesh via Delhi.
Opposition welcomed the visit
Thousands of workers are going to participate in this yatra originating from Uttar Pradesh and this yatra will be 120 km long. The opposition also heartily welcomed the Bharat Jodo Yatra but no one indicated to join. On the invitation for the yatra, Akhilesh Yadav said, “Dear Rahul ji, thank you for the invitation in ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ and best wishes for the success of ‘Bharat Jodo’ campaign.”. On the other hand, SP supremo Mayawati also replied to Rahul on Twitter and wrote – Thank you for the invitation in ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ and hearty wishes for the success of ‘Bharat Jodo’ campaign. However, neither Mayawati nor Akhilesh have confirmed their participation in the yatra.
Congress will focus on damage control
If we look at the political meaning of the yatra, the Congress has a chance to do damage control through the yatra. Many statements made by veteran Congress leaders in UP have taken the form of controversies, in such a situation, the Congress has a chance to rectify the old things. In the past, Congress leader Salman Khurshid had given such a statement about Lord Ram that he got embroiled in controversies. He compared Rahul Gandhi to Lord Ram. He had said that Lord Ram is going to reach UP in a few days.
